We are currently seeking an Operations Manager III to join the Baskin-Robbins team to support the San Fernando Valley market! The Operations Manager III manages 55 to 75 restaurants. Their primary role is to uphold the standards and reputation of the brand while enhancing guest satisfaction and franchisee profitability. They create growth opportunities through effective business planning, drive restaurant excellence through continual evaluation and coaching, and build effective relationships through mutual trust and respect.
The primary accountabilities for this position include:
· Challenges the status quo and identifies opportunities for growth and improvement.
· Identifies a franchisee leader for their portfolio to collaborate in leading DAC meetings and driving performance.
· Drives accountability of the franchisees in their contractual obligations and ensures they are delivering on the brand promise to each guest.
· Role models “At Your Service Leadership” with franchisee community and builds effective relationships through mutual trust and respect.
· Ensures operating systems and training discipline are in place in each franchisee network.
· Identifies gaps between current performance and goals and drives action planning with the franchisees.
· Partners with the franchisees on the value and implementation of their business plan and the business review process as a method of planned growth and profitability.
· Evaluates margins and identifies roadblocks to franchisee profitability and takes appropriate action for solving issues.
· Establishes goals and communicates results; shares best practices and encourages collaboration with franchisees in portfolio.
· Influences franchisees on the value of the people development component of their business plan and provides guidance on organizational structure and succession planning.
· Uses operational assessment tools to evaluate and assist franchisees in maintaining Dunkin’ standards to improve the guest experience.
· Works with their franchisees on new product introductions and new restaurant openings.
· Evaluates each franchisee network on the seven components of the Franchise Business Review providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
· Utilizes knowledge of contracts, accounting, profit and loss, marketing, pricing, and operations to coach the franchisees and drive performance.
· Advises the franchisees in the implementation and execution of Dunkin’ Brands tools, processes, and systems.
· Manages personal expenses, follows all policies and required procedures, and documents all franchisee interactions.
The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
· Five plus years restaurant or retail management experience with multi-unit leadership experience
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Presentation skills
· Computer skills
· Written and verbal communication skills
