Job Title: Operations Accounting Manager

Dept./Group:    Accounting

Position reports to:  Assistant Controller

FLSA: Exempt

 

Position Summary (Purpose of job):

This position will work directly with the Assistant Controller to assist in specific high level accounting functions; supervise operations accounting representatives, meet reporting deadlines as well as implementation of accounting processes and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, prioritize and direct work flow, acting as a resource for questionsTimely preparation and review of period Operations P&L reports through FRXPreparation and review of Operations P&L Analysis Reports each periodReview and post all operations accounting entriesSupervision and support/training of all accounting representativesPreparation of weekly and monthly JE’s and accruals Various balance sheet reconciliations and audit schedule preparation

 

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/FinanceMinimum 3+ years experience of related accounting and supervisory experience.  Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (i.e. Excel, Word)Great Plains and FRX experience a plusCPA certification a plus

 

 

Other:Ability to read, analyze and interpret journals and financial reportsStrong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, research and communication skillsExcellent time management and organization skills, including ability to prioritize own work and the work of others effectively
