General Manager/Operating Partner

 

Sticky Fingers is a casual dining full service family of barbecue restaurants located in the southeast with locations in SC, NC, TN, FL, GA. We got our start in 1992 when three friends from high school opened a restaurant in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina serving up the best hickory-smoked ribs, wings, and barbecue on the planet. We've since grown to 22 restaurants and are gearing up for more.

 

An Operating Partner maintains Sticky Fingers’ brand by delivering outstanding customer service and food quality. He or she oversees and is accountable for the operation of a restaurant ensuring maximum sales and profitability by delivering the highest quality food and drink in a unique dining environment, controlling food and labor costs, maintaining the restaurant’s facilities and equipment, and managing and developing staff.

Requirements:

  3+ years full service casual dining GM experience preferred Fast casual GM experience will be considered Ensure that each customer receives legendary customer service by providing an environment where the customer comes first; this includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid menu knowledge and all other components of our legendary customer service program. Analyze and measure the business; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and profits to meet or exceed goals and objectives. Control food costs and payroll. Ensure appropriate food par levels. Guarantee food safety. Review restaurant trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, one-on-one counseling sessions, etc. Continually evaluate and react to performance issues and actively recruit internal and external management candidates. Train and develop restaurant’s assistant managers in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel. Directly manage floor or kitchen during certain number of shifts/week. Any other responsibilities as assigned by Area Supervisor.
