Front of House Restaurant Manager

High volume, fast paced Seafood/Steak restaurant seeking experienced Front of the House Manager

 

Purpose:

 

  The Front of House Manager oversees all aspects of the operating the front of the house to please the patrons of the restaurant by providing the best pleasant dining experience.

 

Job Functions:

 Serves patrons by managing reservations; scheduling, training and supervising personnelMaintains front of the house staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.Maintains front of the house staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.Ensure all guests receive the highest quality products, services and actively participate in the guest dining experience.

 

 

Requirements:

 Excellent organizational and customer service skillsBasic computer skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsMust understand high volume operationsHigh energyAble to function under limited supervisionAble to climb stairs and life up to 50 poundsKnowledgeable of food and beverage products, preparations, and presentations.Flexible work Schedule (50 hours per week standard)Understand Budgetary goals and work to promote revenue and control costs
