Summary:

The Food Service Regional Manager will be responsible for building profitable sales for the assigned region. This position is also responsible for managing brokers and sales personnel, developing customer relations and representing the Company at various food and trade shows.


Duties and Responsibilities:

· Builds sales by motivating brokers and sales representatives, providing training and education, developing and evaluating action plans, evaluating results and brokers and completing administrative functions.

· Increases sales through distributors by developing long term relationships with key personnel, presenting products and programs, negotiating distributors programs and promotions, educating the distributor sales force on company products and working food shows.

· Completes administrative duties by preparing sales reports, approving regional promotions, composing written communications to sales force and customers and managing broker action plans.

· Increases sales through key operators by identifying and contacting operators, presenting products and developing programs to solidify sales.


Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications:
· Bachelors degree is required
Experience:

· A minimum of 2 years managing foodservice brokers experience is preferred, 1 yr is required.

· A minimum of 2 years sales experience in a corporate setting is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Proficient in use of Lotus Notes

· Demonstrated leadership and possesses the ability to develop interdepartmental relationships

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of associates and customers ranging from entry level to executive level positions.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.

· Ability to prioritize projects and clearly communicate direction internally and externally

· Proficient use of computer and related software.
