Position Overview

· Responsible for sustained growth and success of the catering department as measured by budgeted goals 

· Adherence and execution of all company policies, standards, and procedures

· Management of all aspects of the catering department up to and including: financial, business development, staff/management training and development, marketing plan and execution, customer relations

 

Essential Job Functions

· Support and ensure full execution of all company initiatives and policies with continuous improvement to quality, service, and operating efficiencies

· Serve as a role model and provide accessibility to all management and staff for open communication, leadership direction, and motivation

· Exhibit efficiency in completing job requirements through working with a sense of urgency, consolidating tasks, and delegating and empowering others while managing their efforts

· Actively train and develop management team and staff while holding them accountable for their performance and maintaining standards

· Maintain a presence at events to exceed each customer’s expectations

· Maintaining company standards for food, beverage, service, and atmosphere while building positive customer relations

· Understand and have working knowledge of all daily accounting functions and the supporting computer systems

· Involve yourself and participate in all marketing related initiatives and manage all in-house marketing efforts

 

Position Requirements

· Min of three years previous catering management experience

· Full service, drop-off, and delivery catering experience preferred

· Proven track record for successful growth and continuous improvement of reputable venues
