Dunkin' Donuts Store Manager - Gurnee, IL

Chicagoland Commissary, LLC, dba Dunkin Donuts, the fastest growing franchise group in Illinois, is looking to add to our team.  We are in need of PASSIONATE, RESULTS DRIVEN, SELF STARTING STORE MANAGER for our location at 226 N. Route 21 in Gurnee, Illinois. 

 

Chicagoland Commissary, LLC currently operates approximately 30 locations and is growing quickly.  We are seeking an individual that is looking to take the next step in their career.  Our growth is only limited by our ability to have dynamic DIFFERENCE MAKERS on board to run our operations.  We are poised for great growth and need to find the next leaders for our business.  This is definitely a stepping stone position, as successful operators will be rewarded and promoted within. 

 

Position overview:

Ensure excellent customer service, high-quality foods, staff development, food safety, store cleanliness, and maximize profitability.  Recruit, train, budget compliance, and overall operations of a Dunkin’ Donuts store.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction for a single site to ensure operational excellence and Service The Dunkin’ Way are met or surpassed. Work with store owners to drive customer-focused culture; act as role model in resolving customer issues. Respond pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service issues. Work closely with Area Manager to create and expand operating plans for your store. Coach and develop crew members and shift leaders by giving performance feedback, regular appraisals, setting goals, and creating development plans. Recognize outstanding performance of crew members and shift leaders.  Ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained to Dunkin standards. Manage facility upgrades and/or equipment replacement. Ensure safety compliance of your store. Work with Area Manager to implement and manage staffing plans for crew members and shift leaders for your store.  Initiate and recommend marketing plans. Handle rollout of already functioning marketing plan. Ensure that your stores employment environment is fair and equitable and that all federal and state workplace regulations are met.  Lead and manage operational initiatives and take on special projects as needed.

 

Minimum Requirements:2-3 years of experience in restaurant or retail industry required. Strong communication, organizational, writing, and analytical skills. P&L and financial knowledge required. Knowledge of food service industry health and safety requirements. Ability to work independently and act as a self-starter.
