Chief Financial Officer/VP of Finance

Multi unit, multi State Restaurant Company seeks Chief Financial Officer to support growing business. 

This position is responsible for the strategic leadership of finance, including revenue and sales growth, expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management.  This position will oversee daily financial operations and provides leadership and coordination in the administration, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the Company.  This position manages cash flow, banking relationships, budgets, financial forecasts and analysis, and interacts closely with the Company business leaders to develop annual business plans and make recommendations. 

 

This position also manages all Franchise reporting, compliance and status updates and is responsible for the financial health of the Company and all of the entities. 

 This position also responsible for: Manage the annual audit and tax preparation. Work with President/COO, operations and marketing in analyzing all aspects of the business to identify key metrics to improve unit economics, product needs, pricing, productivity and marketing programs. Lead the development of annual business and operating plan process. Forecast weekly cash position, supervising the payment of all vendors and monitoring daily cash position and managing capital expenditures. Manage relationship with Company’s debt providers as well as seek new financing alternatives. Develop pro forma economic and ROI models for new restaurant opportunities and expansion. Manage annual business and health insurance renewals. Manage Company’s legal relationships. Ad hoc analysis and reporting. Oversee the design, implementation and maintaining of information technology and accounting systems. Manage several entities ensuring proper reporting is complete and investor packages are accurate and sent out quarterly without delay Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations Ensure accurate and timely quarterly reports are complete and distributed Ongoing evaluation of existing vendor contracts. Approval of budgets for all major purchases Directs the preparation of reports outlining financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings base on past, present and future operations.  Ensure franchise system is reporting as directed Ensure franchise sales and system are compliant with all state laws Review and produce financials for Franchise system

To be considered must have Bachelor's degree and CPA Certification; prefer MBA.  Must have 10+ years of progressive Accounting experience in a corporate situation.  Must be familiar with Payroll laws and tax regulations.
