Job description

The applicant will direct and manage daily operations of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and training to kitchen personel. 

Developing menus, recipes and supervise execution

Responsible for managing all of BOH staff.

Understanding of local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws. 

Responsible for sanitation through-out the unit

Full understanding of food service P and L

 

Qualifications:

 

·         College or culinary training and/or extensive cooking and production experience

 

·         Strong organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills.

 

·        Strong management skills to train, develop and supervise

·         good administrative skills- purchasing, budgeting, cost controls

·        High threshold for stress, positive energy, passion for the trade

·        prior experience working with a union is a plus
