Cash Manager

Panera Bread is actively seeking a Cash Manager in our Finance department. This person will be primarily responsible for managing all cash functions which includes Investments, US & Canadian cash, reconciling Bakery Café deposits, all credit card and gift card transactions, bank account setups, corporate cash positioning and multiple cash related GL account reconciliations. The Manager will also be involved in the improvement of cash processes, while keeping pace with expected company growth.Responsibilities:· Manage the Cash functions which includes Investments, US & Canadian cash, reconciling Bakery Café deposits, all credit card and gift card transactions, bank account setups, corporate cash positioning and multiple cash related GL account reconciliations.· Manage and coordinate work, hiring, training and individual development of team members. · Managing function to ensure accurate and timely work and great customer service from all team members. · Ensure SOX compliance for Cash, and Investment functions.· Maintain relationships with external banks, external armored car vendors, credit card and gift card providers, internal departments, café managers and Finance management team.· Recommend and implement process improvements & changes in procedures and policies to improve effectiveness and mitigate risk to the company with respect to the Cash team and processes. · Maintain structured processes within scheduled timeline and proper documentation of all departmental procedures. · Develop and monitor Cash best practices, metrics and customer satisfaction while operating in a continuously improving environment.· Assist with internal and external audits.· Assist with systems implementation and special projects.· Manage P&L and budget for department.Qualifications:· BS/BA degree in Accounting or Business Management required.· 5-8 years of prior experience in Treasury/Cash Management required specific job-related prior experience.· Experience in Managing, Coaching, Developing and Supervising others· Relationship building skills, along with great communication skills· Self starter and self driven attitude to become a results acheiver· Solid customer service skills with a team player perspective· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications· Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards or equivalent· Ability to manage a group or team of professional individual contributors directly and indirectly· Possess problem-solving skills.At Panera Bread, our employees' health and happiness are a high priority.
