Analyst, Business Systems

To provide analysis, design, selection and ongoing maintenance and administration of ERP solutions. Focus mostly on Corporate/ERP systems with some support of café Systems as needed.

Accountabilities:Work with users to Design and Plan enhancements to our Oracle 11.03 and 11i Application systems (HR, Process Mfg., GL, AR, AP, FA, Inventory) Support our Accounting & Finance Departments with any Oracle Financials issues, interfacing or reporting needs. Support our HR and Benefits Departments with any issues, interfacing, or reporting needs. Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis of customer software solution needs, then design and recommend solutions and work as part of the implementation team.Proactively seek to offer software and reporting solutions that offer improvements in efficiency and empower our decision-makers with actionable information. Proactively communicate and collaborate with teammates regarding design ideas, issues and status. Work with developers to customize software solutions as needed. Custom components may include: reports, database stored procedures using API’s, user interfaces designed to lookup and administer data, system-to-system interfaces and batch jobs (or shell scripts). Analyze designs, tests, and debugs programs to support business applications.Understand business objectives and business impact of actions.Creates system maps including mock-ups of user interface screens.Develop partnership between IS and users.Develop technical and high level knowledge of business applications.Perform documentation of software.Implement developed and/or acquired computer applications. This includes preparing technical documentation, validating systems and training users.Work with users to troubleshoot existing systems.Write project specifications for projectOther duties as assigned

Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Oracle HR,  Oracle Discoverer, Oracle SQL and PL/SQLKnowledge of VB, Unix, Ceridian Payroll, Kronos Time clocks and other coding languages also a plus

Education or Equivalent Experience:
Four years college degree or equivalent experience working as a Business/Systems analyst
