Banquet Manager

High volume, fast paced Seafood/Steak restaurant seeking experienced Banquet Manager.

 

Purpose:

 

  The Banquet Manager oversees all aspects of the catering operating for all in-house and off-premise functions.

 

Job Functions:

 Marketing and sales activities to develop new business and to secure repeat businessCoordinate all details of functions with clients.Supervise the execution of all catered functions.Maintain effective communication with Chef and kitchen personnel, as well as front of hour managers.Ensure the highest quality products and services are provided to every customer.Accurate billing and timely collection of all banquet revenues.Perform personnel functions to include staff training and development, counseling and discipline.

 

 

Requirements:

 Excellent organizational and customer service skillsBasic computer skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsMust understand high volume operationsHigh energyAble to function under limited supervisionAble to climb stairs and life up to 50 poundsKnowledgeable of food and beverage products, preparations, and presentations.Previous catering management experience in upscale venuesFlexible work Schedule (50 hours per week standard)
