Account Manager

Reporting to the VP of McDonald's Global Account Development, as an integral contributor to the Sales and Marketing function, the account manager will plan and execute without significant supervision the designated responsiblities within the key account business plan.  Responsibility includes establishing customer relationships that are viewed as an extension of the customer's business so as develop and generate additional and new business sales opportunities within the account as a solutions provider of choice.  Deliver custom equipment solutions to the McDonald's and/or other designated key accounts to a all regions nationally as well as owner/operators.  Extensive travel required to customer account locations as well as meetings, regional and national trade shows, etc.  When not traveling, work within the Carol Stream facility participating in various McDonald's (or designated key account) meetings, training, and team interactions to include working with engineering, manufacturing, technical support, customer service, etc. as required.  Build and maintain key relationships within all levels of the MdDonald's (or designated) field organization.  Develop price quotes, respond to product availability queries, and service related issues.  Gather forecast information and assist in determining revenue mix.  Plan, roll out, and coordinate new product introductions.  Demonstrate thorugh knowledge of Prince Castle products, services, and equipment.  Deliver presentations and perform demonstrations that highlight Prince Castle equipment features and value added services that warrant exceptional customer participation.  Work collectively with peers to develop best practices, resource capitalization, and innovative and effective sales techniques.  A Bachelor's degree with a proven track record of sales effectiveness; persuasiveness, oral and written communication skills, overcoming resistence, etc.  Well organized self starter with 2-5 years experience within the foodservice equipment industry and a working knowledge of engineering and manufacturing capabilities.  Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Sales Software Support Programs, preferably MAS.  Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
