Service Manager
Williams Scotsman is a national leader in the mobile office and modular building business. With over 90 locations in the US, Canada and Mexico, we maintain one of the largest mobile office and storage unit lease fleets in the country and have been serving customers for more than 50 years. We are seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee operations of our fleet to include delivery, removal and maintenance and provide supervision and dispatch of drivers and service personnel. The Service Manager’s responsibilities will include:· Overseeing the ongoing maintenance and servicing of the mobile office/storage product fleet· Scheduling unit pick-ups and deliveries and dispatching trucks to ensure timely customer delivery· Assigning and scheduling daily service calls and acting as customer liaison· Supervising the service and set-up technicians and drivers; tracking time and vacation; performing performance evaluations; overseeing HR issues related to the service team· Performing monthly and quarterly fleet and parts inventories· Coordinating refurbishment of the fleet· Seeking out subcontractor labor at competitive pricing· Issuing and tracking vendor purchase orders· Assessing damage billing· Conducting periodic safety meetings Qualified candidates will have:· HS Diploma/equivalent, some college coursework preferred· Construction experience, including a background in plumbing, electrical and carpentry· Proven effective supervisory skills· Prior dispatch experience helpful· Working knowledge of MS Office/Outlook· Strong customer service focus· Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment· Clean driving record (CDL a plus but not required)· Ability to stand, climb, crawl and bend up to 75% of the workday and lift up to 50 pounds Here are some of the many excellent benefits offered by Williams Scotsman:· Competitive base salary· Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance· Prescription Plan· Life Insurance· Disability Coverage· 401(k) Program with Company Match· Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Days· Employee Assistance Program· Tuition Assistance· Employee Referral Program· and MORE in a casual, fun, team-spirited environment Interested candidates should submit their resumes, including salary requirements to: LVNSvcMngr@willscot.com or send to Williams Scotsman, Inc., 3435 Kier Rd.; North Las Vegas, NY 89030, or Faxes to 702-798-6163.
