Project Coordinator/Sales Assistant

We are currently seeking qualified, service-oriented individuals for a Project Coordinator/Rental Sales Assistant position.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prepare rental quotes and leases.Enter leases for Rental customersAssists Rental consultant with teleprospecting, mass mailings, follow-up calls.Utilizes Professional Selling Skills to maintain an 80% or higher closing percentage on all showroom traffic.Utilizes selling skills over the phone to maintain a 40% inquiry to appointment ratio.Tracks all walk-in customers.Maintains organization and synchronization of customer database using ACT.Manages project accounts, i.e. Third party rental, nursing accounts, and insurance accounts weekly/monthly calls and email blitzes.Probes continuously to uncover cross-selling opportunities with each prospect and passes leads accordingly to Residential Account Executive or Rental Consultant, Retail Clearance Center, Trade Shows division, and Relocation Central.Prepares rental quotes and leases.Follows-up daily on pending quotes and communicates with Rental consultant.Provides excellent customer service for all customers needs; including new deliveries, add-ons, exchanges, and billing inquiries.Ensures proper delivery based on approved delivery procedures.Tracks and ensures payment of referrals.Attends networking groups.Other duties as assigned by District Sales Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years Customer Service and/or sales experience.  Furniture knowledge a plus.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and comprehend business level correspondence and memos in English.  Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to utilize a calculator in order to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Compute ratios and percents.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Apply common sense in order to carry out written or oral instructions. Utilize District procedures and guidelines to creatively resolve customer service issues.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Perform basic computer skills and Internet applications. Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, ACT, and Outlook, a plus.
