The Opportunity:
National Business Group, a nationawide leader in the portable service industry, is seeking a Marketing Database Analyst to support our national sales and marketing efforts for 20+ regional offices. The Marketing Database Analyst will analyze customer and prospect data developing customer insights, providing actionable analysis/recommendations to enable the Marketing and Sales departments to define marketing and product strategies to drive sales efforts.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail oriented, have the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and be an excellent problem solver who can work independently or in a team environment.
Experience developing graphs and charts for communicating trends and comparisons is required. Experience developing database queries report writing, and creating ad hoc reports is required. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL, some CRM and Crystal Reports experience is a plus.BA plus 2-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Job Duties:
· Development of customer intelligence by collecting and analyzing customer data to facilitate the evaluation of existing and potential product and service markets.
· Responsible for developing and implementing marketing databases: file appending, extraction, manipulation and quality control standards
· Query and retrieve existing customer data from internal resources and conduct analyses to determine product performance
· Conduct new customer research, profiling and segmentation
· Segment customer data to assist in the implementation of effective customer acquisition, cross selling, up selling, win-back and retention campaigns
· Analyze and interpret campaign performance, including building the response data into customer and prospect data marts
· Track trends for customer acquisition and retention, and regularly reporting to all departments involved statistics from customer activity
· Develop procedures to ensure accuracy of customer survey program; compile, analyze and report survey results
Produce and maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales reports as well as ad hoc reports
