AmQuip Crane Rental, LLC, one of the largest crane rental companies in the United states, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Regional Controller. We are experiencing tremendous success and growth, and we are searching for a qualified, ambitious individual to join our company.






 

Job Summary

Responsible for $15 million in purchasing a year. Examples of areas this position will be responsible for are office, shop (crane and crane maintenance) items. This position handles the full life cycle of the purchase order process.

Essential Functions

Managing and selecting vendor base                                                                          20%

Handling full purchasing lifecycle                                                                              40%

Strategically look at vendor relationships, ensuring competitive cost advantage       20%

$15 million in purchasing a year

Purchasing for work shop, cranes, crane maintenance

Create and maintain electronic requisition system company wide.

Work with AS400 and Daprex system                                                                       15%                

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.         5%

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Education: 

·         High School Diploma

·         Business school, Associate’s degree or equivalent is a plus.

Knowledge Requirements:  

·         Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet.

·         Database experience. AS 400 and Daprex a plus

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

·         A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.

 

Experience:

·         3-5 years Buyer experience

·         Industrial/auto/trucking experience a plus
