CORT, the nation’s premier provider of furniture rental solutions, seeks a entrepreneurial-minded individual with the integrity to be the Assistant District General Manager in our Chicago IL District located in Carol Stream, IL. CORT is a Berkshire Hathaway Company, with over 120 locations nationwide. We specialize in providing furniture rental solutions for commercial, residential, and trade show events.
This hands-on position requires five or more years of management experience with demonstrated success in continued development of people, overseeing operations and procedures, managing financials, and increasing market share. Qualifications include extensive experience with profit and loss management; maintaining quality customer service; running a distribution/delivery operation; managing people (including warehouse staff,delivery drivers and retail staff) in a fast paced, 24/7 environment; overseeing outside sales personnel; and strategic planning skills. Up to 15% travel is required to provide sales support, participation in industry related marketing events, and management meetings. The Assistant District General Manager must be able to relocate within 2 years for promotion opportunities.
