Sr. Property Accountant

F&H Solutions Group is conducting a search for a Sr. Property Accountant.  Our client, headquartered in Memphis, TN, is a dynamic leader in the retail center development industry.

 

We are seeking a Sr. Property Accountant to be located in the Memphis headquarters.  The major responsibility of the position is the preparation and/or review of the cash and accrual financial statements for a portfolio of properties, including General Ledger month-end close, actual to budget variance review, cash management support, audits, bank reconciliations and spreadsheet ad-hoc analysis.

 

Major responsibilities also include: Preparation of timely and accurate monthly property financial statements for multi property portfolios by deadlines established in the management agreement. Preparation of additional schedules, which are required to support account balances or are required by owners and/or lenders. Submitting financial statements and work papers in reviewable form. Ensuring reconciliation of bank statements on a timely basis.

 

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree with an Accounting major.  Three to five or more years accounting experience; real estate accounting preferred. CPA is a plus.

 

This position offers attractive earnings potential and a strong benefits package.  The package does not include relocation.
