Sr. Lease Administrator

Prominent Commercial Real Estate Company is looking for a Sr. Lease Administrator with supervisory experience and a demonstrated track record in all phases of lease administration and accounts receivable.  This position will have a direct report to the AVP of Lease Administration and will be responsible for a team of 2-3 Lease Administrators.  The successful candidate will be able to manage an assigned account portfolio while working closely with the AVP of Lease Administration to prioritize and oversee the day to day responsibilities of the department.  This position will require “hands onâ€� knowledge of Accounts Receivable to conduct and oversee a variety of billings (including monthly rent and year end CAM reconciliations); cash receipt applications, collections and account reconciliations.  As a Supervisor and primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, you must be able to effectively communicate with your customers and all internal departments to respond to lease related questions and critical requests.  The successful candidate must be a strong leader who can train and mentor the Lease Administrators while overseeing a sizable portfolio in a fast paced environment.  The ability to multi-task and adapt to ever changing demands of the business is vital.

 

Requirements:

 BA/BS degree preferred. A minimum of five years as a Sr. Commercial Lease Administrator with Accounts Receivable experience (billing, cash and collections) required.

·  Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

·  Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as required.

·  Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

·  Ability to work independently and achieve results as part of a team.

·  Ability to effectively interface with all departments of the company in a highly professional manner.Solid computer skills with proficiency in, MS Word, MS Excel is required.

·  Experience with JD Edwards, MRI, Timberline or a similar real estate accounting system preferred.
