Senior Research Coordinator / Commercial Real Estate

Description:Conducts research using such various methods as the Internet and the telephone to obtain real estate information on property and owner data. Updates property and client database with updated information gathered through research. Obtains real estate market data for request for proposals, offering memorandums, and related materials. Researches real estate news articles for pertinent information requested by internal clients. Calculates and provides various real estate figures for specific properties such as net effective rent, capitalization rate, and occupancy percentages. Analyzes existing and potential product/service markets. Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective customers and on competitors. Prepares reports that interpret market conditions and potentials. Investigates methods, costs of distribution, and advertising. May be responsible for informal coaching/training of co-workers, as well as coordinating research projects within assigned research team.Qualifications:BA/BS from a four-year college or university2-4 years of related experience and/or training.Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or management. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Requires general knowledge of financial terms and principles.
