Senior Auditor Responsibilities Conduct internal audits in accordance with internal auditing standards promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors including planning, fieldwork and reporting Review, evaluate and approve the audit workingpapers prepared by assigned staff, which document all audit procedures, findings and recommendations Perform audit follow-up activities to test the implementation of management’s responses to audit findings Assist in conducting special investigations and/or special projects requested by Audit management and LandAmerica’s executive management Directly participate in the development of automated audit solutions including controls monitoring and data analysis (e.g. Audit Command Language) Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Certification as a CPA, CIA, or CISA, is preferred. Two or more years experience in internal audit, finance, and accounting or information technology are expected Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with different levels of management Experience with data analysis techniques including ACL is strongly desired.
