Senior Analyst - Compliance

The Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing compliance with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Tax-Exempt Bond programs for a portfolio of over 3,000 units. Duties include:

* Attending and responding to state reviews
* Completing required state agency and bond reports
* Delivering training to both Compliance Department and Operations staff
* Working with State Agency staff to determine state-specific compliance requirements
* Assisting with the creation of policies and procedures
* Working with Operations staff to insure smooth, efficient compliance procedures
* Approving requests for reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications
* Providing guidance to staff performing pre-move-in reviews
* Performing quality assurance on applications approved

Must possess a positive attitude, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to resolve conflict. Must be pro-active, able to work independently and follow tasks through to completion. Duties require attention to detail and the ability to create and interpret reports.
Travel is required.

Must be a respected leader in the areas of Low Income Housing Tax Credit(LIHTC) & Tax-Exempt Bond compliance with at least 2 years experience working with these program; must possess a nationally recognized LIHTC compliance designation, such as the HCCP, C3P, SCHM, NCP. A strong background in Fair Housing is also required. A bachelor’s degree in a business discipline and/ or equivalent professional experience is required. Site-level operations experience is preferred.

Yardi Voyager Residential Property Management software experience a plus but not required. Must have a intermediate knowledge of computer programs including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
