STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST

We are currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our office located in Chicago, IL. STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST - Chicago, IL Responsibilities: Execute sourcing strategies for facility and project spend Communicate, coordinate and implement local, regional and national sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations Key communication liaison with account sourcing team Manage transition plans for local, regional, and national contracts Conduct RFI/RFP bid process for selected sourcing initiatives Provide detailed instructions and follow-up to support the operation and project teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with approved standards Administer and maintain contract files to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client sourcing requirements, to include any and all necessary contract documentation requirements Establish work priorities, assign deliverables and resolve issues with operations and project teams Maintain and expand the supplier diversity program in accordance with client and Jones Lang LaSalle requirements Oversee the Preferred Supplier Review Process to include conducting Preferred Supplier performance review meetings, managing supplier performance via scorecards, supplier profiles and supplier surveys Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements Support e-commerce procurement initiatives either corporate or client mandated Prepare budget information for all fixed local, regional, and national contracts Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of price and contractor capabilities Maintain/enhance contract compliance tracker Requirements: Bachelors Degree Minimum of 3-7 years of Strategic Sourcing experience Indirect/Service Procurement experience preferred Construction management Procurement experience preferred Excellent inter-personal skills, organization skills, and analytical ability Excellent Communication skills – oral and written CPM certification preferred Computer proficiency in MS applications Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
