SCHEDULE:

MONDAY - THURSDAY 12:00 - 9:00 & SATURDAY 7:00 - 4:00

 

Position Summary
Collect delinquent payments and or communicate with customers on options to prevent foreclosure while minimizing company losses.

Essential Job Functions
• Review delinquent files, and contact customers to collect overdue payments.
• Identify and attempt to resolve reasons for delinquency.
• Communicate basic loan restructuring possibilities to assist customers in resolving delinquency and avoiding foreclosure.
• Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.


Requirements


High school diploma with some college or the combination of equivalent work, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities related to the position requirements.

 

Experience
Experience in negotiation, collections or sales highly desired.
Mortgage experience highly desired.

 

Skills & Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of mortgage operations, loan files, payments and collection requirements.
• Ability to operate an automated online collections system
• Knowledge of CPI servicing system and Davox is highly desired
• Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Basic knowledge of PCs and related software such as Excel and Word
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material
