Regional Manager for Multi-Family Properties
Starpoint Properties is a private equity firm specializing in the acquisition, renovation and management of multi-family and commercial properties. We currently own and manage a portfolio of more than 3,000 multi-family units and 1,500,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Because of extraordinary growth, Starpoint Property Management is looking to hire a Regional Property Manager who will enjoy our professional and fun work environment. While the majority our portfolio is in Southern California, we also have properties in San Diego, Atlanta and Santa Fe. Our corporate offices are located in Beverly Hills.
The Regional Manager oversees the operations, financial transactions and record keeping at an assigned portfolio of approximately 10 multi-family properties.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of management experience in the property management industry, have strong financial management skills, and be an excellent organizer, coach and motivator, and have a good sense of humor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete monthly and sporadic property inspections to gather information and determine or revise goals and objectives for assigned properties.
Achieve income and profitability goals by overseeing the completion and revision of rent surveys, determining appropriate rental rates, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
Oversee and monitor property management activities including the handling of delinquencies, rent collections, rent increases, leases, evictions, vacancies, resolution of tenant issues.
Hire, train and motivate site staff.
Qualifications
Five years of experience overseeing multiple properties of 50 units or larger, with two years experience supervising five more employees.
Experience managing and analyzing expenses and budgets and applying basic accounting concepts to expense and income accounting.
Ability to write narrative reports about financial matters and basic business correspondence.
Experience using accounting software (Yardi preferred).
Strong skills in MS Excel, Outlook, Word and Internet research.
Able to travel by car and air up to 50 percent of work time.
Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
