REGIONAL FACILITIES DIRECTOR

McKinley, a national leader in real estate and property management, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Facilities Director to join our team at our  Regional team in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

DUTIES

 

Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, this position:Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities within a specific geographic area. Negotiates regional acquisition contracts and vendor accounts, provides consultation services to all sites and ownership in areas of facilities management on a regional level, develops and analyzes feasibility studies and completes insurance claim assessments, negotiations and settlement.Develops and monitors safety programs, assists property managers in hiring facility/maintenance staff positions, and develops training programs for maintenance, management and facility employees.  Supervises and monitors development and coordination of facilities staff.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 4-8 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Significant travel is required in various time increments as construction and consultation is required in any geographic location.
