Regional Accountant - Radnor, PA

Brandywine Realty Trust has an immediate opening for a Property Accountant based in our Radnor, PA location.  This person will have responsibility for conducting accounting functions for owned, managed and joint venture properties.  The primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Primary Responsibilities: Â§  Annual budgets and forecasting as well as monthly, quarterly and year-end close of books for owned and managed properties §  Monthly variance reporting for owned, managed and where appropriate 3rd party properties  Â§  Monthly Balance Sheet review Â§  Preparation of the quarterly Joint Venture Distributions and Capital calls§  Year-end and interim CAM reconciliations. §  Oversee and direct all aspects of lease administration which includes delinquent tenant account management. §  Construction accounting for owned and managed properties.  Duties include opening, managing and closing base building and development projects in addition to tenant and capital improvement project.§  Communicate effectively with property managers, leasing agents, construction managers and field personnel to resolve tenant account issues and discuss variances. Requirements Â§  Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited four year institution.§  Minimum 5-7 years commercial REIT property accounting experience. §  Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. §  Working knowledge of Excel and MS Word.  MRI or other commercial property management accounting software experience preferred. §  Working knowledge of forecasting and modeling applications desired (Argus, Dyna)§  Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. §  Superior customer service and communication skill, combined with the ability to recognize key contacts and interact professionally at all levels. §  Excellent quantitative skills. Brandywine Realty Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEOE).  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, sex, color, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, marital status, or sexual orientation. We are committed to maintaining a safe, healthful and efficient environment that enhances the welfare of our employees.  Use of illegal drugs and/or any substances that impair or are likely to impair an employee’s ability to perform his or her job is strictly prohibited.  We conduct full criminal and credit background checks on all potential employees prior to the start of employment.
