Recertification/Occupancy Specialist
Growing property management company, based in Midwood, Brooklyn seeks an occupancy/recertification specialist experienced with LIHTC and Section 8 properties.  Â
Â
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  preparation and approval of initial and annual tenant income certifications, review of tenant files to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and assisting in the marketing of vacant units. Will assist on site managers and staff with questions and issues relating to tenant compliance.Â
Â
Requirements: Must have at least 3-5 years experience with Section 8 and LIHTC programs, including knowledge of annual income recertification requirements. Must have a car and be comfortable driving around NYC metro area. Must have excellent verbal and writing skills. Basic computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel are required and experience with Yardi Voyagersoftware preferred.Â
