Property Manager - Vacancy Coordinator
Join our Facility Department at Wavecrest Gardens, work with our experienced team managing 1700 apartments and a shopping center.

You must have at least 3 years experience in managing multifamily buildings in New York City.
All candidates will be subject to a thorough background investigation.

This position offers an opportunity to be free of coop boards and management by committees.
Below is a detailed job description:
1) Title: Manager
2) Compensation: Salary range between $45,000 and $65,000, benefits include medical insurance (single coverage) and company 401K plan.
3) Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some alternating weekend days.
Responsibilities Include:
a) Resident Satisfaction: Meet with residents to resolve any issues that adversely affect their satisfaction with living in our buildings.
b) Vacancy Coordination: Ensure the efficient turnover of all vacant apartments.
c) Renovations: Assess work required by outside contractors in all vacant units.
d) Annual Apartment Inspections: Apartment Inspections: Inspect all of the occupied and vacant apartments to ensure they are in compliance with the building codes and Management’s rules and regulations.
e) Common Area Maintenance: Will be responsible for ensuring that common area cleaning schedule is adhered to.
General Duties:
i) Assist Facility Manager in any way he/she sees fit.
ii) Become familiar with duties of maintenance coordinator and cover post when necessary.
iii) On call 24/7 for emergencies.
Qualifications:
a) Valid Driver’s License and a car.
b) High School diploma.
c) Minimum of 3 years experience in the real estate industry. With direct experience in facility management.
d) Strong computer skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
e) “Hands On” experience with maintenance a plus.
f) Military experience as plus.
