Property Maintenance Technician - Ft. Washington, PA

Brandywine Realty Trust, a premier commercial Class A full service real estate company with operations nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Property Maintenance Technician (internal title:  Building Operating Technician –NOTE:  an engineering degree is NOT required) in our Ft. Washington, PA location.  This person will have responsibility for completing necessary operating, maintenance and repairs to assure maximum life and reliability of our building’s mechanical systems.  Providing outstanding customer service to our tenants is our top priority.  This position has significant responsibility in responding to trouble calls or requests for assistance from tenants in a professional, courteous expedient manner. Primary Responsibilities: Complete necessary operating, maintenance, and repair tasks to assure maximum life and reliability of mechanical systems. Systems include, but are not limited to: HVAC Plumbing Electrical (as allowed by applicable Codes and/or incumbent licensing) General building maintenance  Record maintenance and repair information in accordance with guidelines established by management direction or policy/procedure.  Respond to trouble calls or requests for assistance from tenants.  Maintain positive working relationships with tenants, responding to requests and issues in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.  Maintain productivity-enhancing communications and working relationships with co-workers, management and third-party contractors and suppliers.  Respond to after-hours emergency calls,  Other assigned duties as required. REQUIREMENTS:Education/Training, Skills and Experience Needed High School diploma or equivalent required.  Completion of a building trades curriculum at a recognized technical school is preferred. Must have a valid state-issued drivers license at all times. Must be insurable at all times under Brandywine Realty Trust's commercial policies where deemed necessary at the Company's sole discretion. Strong customer-service orientation in responding to tenant requests.
