Property Accountant in Ladera Ranch

U.S. Commercial LLC, a real estate investment firm managing 2.8 Million square feet of self storage, has an opening for a Property Accountant in our Ladera Ranch office. The individual in this position will report to the REIT Property Controller.

 

The qualified candidate will be required, but not limited to:Produce journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.Process accounts payable transactions, cut checks, assist on wire transfersPost accounts receivable transactions and handle bank depositsRecord property operating activities Analyze budget and actual results to report variancesReviews monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsCalculate dividend payouts Support integration of new acquisitions as needed

 

 

General Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or comparable work experience

· Experience in real estate accounting is a plus

· Experience preparing cash basis and GAAP financial statements

· Experience with Microsoft Office required

· Great Plains and QuickBooks experience a plus

· Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills

· Be detailed oriented while multi-tasking

· Possess creative thinking and ability to resolve issues

· Must be hands-on and work effectively in a demanding environment Be able to adapt quickly to change
