Programmer Analyst

Summary

This position is a contributor to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. Those in this position are assigned to projects within an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilize various new computing architectures.

 

Challenges and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate application software packages and make recommendations to managementCollect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional projectPerform feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate designFoster and maintain good relationships with customers and IS colleagues Other responsibilities as required

 

Skills and Requirements:J2EE, JAVA, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JDBC, SQL and XSL skills. CVS and WSAD background helpfulAbility to design, develop, and support a variety of applications (both internal and purchased)  Strong communication skills, able to express technical concepts in business termsAnalytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skillsProject management skills, organizing, planning, and executing projects
