Our established property management client needs an experienced (5 years, minimum) Property Administrator to assist in all administrative functions regarding management of a portfolio of suburban retail properties.

 

The keys to this position:

·  Must have RETAIL property experience – know the maintenance issues, leasing process, billing, invoicing, management report preparation, etc.

ž  Strip center experience would be most appropriate

·  MUST HAVE 5 years experience with assisting in retail property management.

ž  Even with 5 years, the client says it will take another year to get up to speed on their properties.

ž  Office property experience may be acceptable if the experience includes managing multiple sites, typically small office buildings (think “suburban”).

 

Position reports to Sr. V.P. Asset Management and will support other property managers; will also work with Accounting and Leasing people as well as some client contact.

 

Other tasks include:

·  Preparing and distributing financial management reporting, including lease terms, gross sales activities, employee timesheets for accounting

·  Organizing / maintaining tenant, general and key files

·  Collecting and keeping track of all vendor activities, including insurance for all properties.

·  Other responsibilities include general secretarial duties.
