Manager of Pricing and Revenue Management

We currently own and operate approximately 50,000 apartment homes in the US and employ approximately 2,000 associates. We are currently searching for a Manager of Pricing and Revenue Management to work at our Corporate Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

An integral part of a new Department within the organization and reporting to the Director of Pricing and Revenue Management, your main priority will be to assist in establishing and implementing pricing, revenue optimization, marketing and leasing strategies based on market conditions and revenue targets for a portfolio of apartment communities. This will be accomplished through establishing a strong understanding of local markets, monitoring competitive conditions,, and analyzing apartment supply and demand.

In addition, this position will be responsible for liaising with operational leadership and providing necessary data analysis on current market conditions as well as revenue performance.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Accounting/Finance. In addition, the ideal candidate should have 5+ years experience in the multi-family housing/hospitality industries with a minimum of 2 years experience in revenue management or pricing. MBA is preferred.

This position requires a strong knowledge of relational databases and querying SQL skills, MS Excel and Access, and an understanding of Yield/Revenue management software such as Rainmaker LRO or Yield Star Price Optimizer.
