Description:Position Responsibilities:Manages and supports the development, tracking, and implementation of Client Accounting Services financial systems support group.Manages software support tracking system and manages support resources to meet internal service level agreements.Acts as the single point of contact for all support issues escalated to a "High" priority. Provides recurring updates to senior management on resolution of these issuesEnsures that all financial systems operate in compliance with acceptable accounting practices and applicable internal and external policies and regulations.Gathers information from internal and external sources related to needed process enhancements and technical/software efficiencies for Client Accounting. Based on the information gathered makes recommendations on enhancements/additions/changes on a wide variety of technical, software and/or process-related projects. Develops and maintains resource tracking and financial models to show cost and value of Client Accounting Services financial systems.Delivers product management updates to senior leadership in formal presentations. Acts as a training resource for financial systems assigned to the systems support group.Provides leadership on post-project, end user support for strategic initiatives.Qualifications:Qualifications Must Include:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, MIS or Computer Science. Advanced experience in managing software/technical support resources. Experience in administering support tracking systems is preferred.Advanced ability to effectively prepare and present reports, speeches, and presentations. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints. Ability to create, organize and present software training sessions. Proven ability to effectively interact with external clients, senior management, employees, regulators and external auditors. Demonstrated financial planning, project management, negotiation, and influencing skills, leadership competencies and the ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise employees and all aspects of the accounting systems.Must be able to work independently to identify, plan and manage required resources and staff to successfully bring projects from idea to implementation.Expert knowledge of computer applications related to real estate accounting and financial management systems.
