Maintenance Supervisor (Union)

Position Description:

Maintenance Supervisor: Supervises and coordinates the daily maintenance operations of a high rise apartment community and maintains the physical asset and the performance of the property to achieve the highest possible net operating income, without compromising the quality of the property's appearance or level of service. Monitors regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures related to property management and ensures that all associates are familiar with and understand them. Specific responsibilities include supervising approximately 10 maintenance techs and/or custodians. Applicant must maintain a working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement project to ensure the proper, efficient operation of all systems, preventative maintenance, custodian functions and responses to service requests. Follow all OSHA regulations and fair housing laws. Make recommendations and assist Property Manager with budget recommendations and the bidding out process through to completion.
