DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION:Supervise 3-4 maintenance technicians at a 660-unit apartment complex.Responsible for prioritizing and distributing work orders to maintenance staff at the property on a daily basis. Review work orders with property manager daily to ensure all maintenance staff is completing work in a productive and efficient manner.Troubleshoot and/or diagnose a wide variety of basic maintenance problems at the property which may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC. Responsible for training new maintenance employees and assisting current employees with problems beyond their skill level.Responsible for general turnover of vacant apartment units. Ensure all turns and make readys are up to Fath standards for occupancy.Direct contact point with all subcontractors working on the property. Schedule and inspect work performed by subcontractors for completion and detail.Purchase and track inventory. Conduct Company sponsored safety meetings and promote personal safety among all maintenance staff.Perform on-call duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma, GED, Technical or Trade SchoolHVAC certification required Previous supervisory experience requiredPlumbing and electrical experience2-4 years related experience in apartment and/or property management Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licensePhysical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Must be able to operate power equipment, such as saws and drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
