Job Title: Lock & Key Bank Equipment

Job Summary: Maintains all bank lock and key equipment by conducting preventative maintenance and repair at multiple properties by self-performing or coordinating subcontracting of the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Receives verbal instructions from client or dispatcher.  Generates or receives CMMS work orders. 

 

Performs preventive maintenance work orders according to schedule.

 

Performs repairs to under counter teller station.

 

Performs repairs and/or preventive maintenance on bank drive thru equipment.

 

Cuts keys, re-key locks, lock picking.

 

Performs Safe Deposit Box drilling & repairs and minor vault drilling.

 

Cuts keys by code.

 

Pining of locks (level 1 system).

 

Installs deadbolts on wood doors.

 

Completes knob and lever lock installation.

 

Installs and maintains door hardware.

 

Completes combination lock changes-Mosler hand changeable, 302-402, S&G 6700, Lagard 3330, Diebold and other industry standards.

 

Electronic locks- S&G 6120, Lagard Combo Guard and other industry standards.

 

Performs duties of Maintenance Mechanics when called upon.

 

Keeps facilities clean in appearance, removing trash as required.

 

Communicates effectively with client to determine and service needs.

 

Contacts and requests Viox trades or subcontractor support as required.

 

Completes and submits paperwork accurately and on time.

 

Manages time wisely, remains productive while working independently.

 

Works required hours.  Is available during non-work hours as needed and responds to emergency calls in a timely manner.

 

Attends training to remain current on trends and technology in the bank equipment maintenance industry

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Certification in Locksmith training by an accredited school such as Foley-Belsaw or technical trade school; and three to six years lock & key mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. 

 CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  Must possess a valid driver's license and a Locksmith License/Certification.
