LEASING CONSULTANT

 

  Handle leasing, outreach, prospecting and lead generation including greeting prospective residents, setting     appointments, showing apartments, following up, and processing applications Conduct marketing surveys and make recommendations based on analysis of reports Coordinate with the maintenance department to handle apartment turnovers, move-ins and move-outs,  making sure vacant apartments are ready, and work orders are processed promptly Update and process lease renewals. Assist with resident concerns or related activities Prepare move-in packages, conduct move-in inspections, making the new residents feel welcome Handle administrative functions to include clerical and reception responsibilities, and light bookkeeping

 

 

Qualifications: Min HS diploma or equivalen; some college coursework achieved, Bachelor's degree is preferred 1+ years leasing and/or customer service experience Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and any Property Management software Strong written & verbal communication skills, as well as professional apperance and demeanor  Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines while successfully handling multiple tasks Ability to follow-up and follow-through Proven ability in providing exceptional customer service/resident relations Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines Ability to work weekends and flexible hours Positive attitude Team Player
