LEAD ENGINEER
We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join our office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. LEAD ENGINEER – Albuquerque, NMThe Lead Engineer will work closely with Real Estate Operations, Project Management, and Engineering Services to ensure the client business units have adequate infrastructure to function at a high level. This position is directly responsible for the operation of the building systems at Mesa del Sol; this includes life/safety, mechanical/electrical/HVAC systems, building control systems, EPA/OSHA compliance, safety programs, CFC handling and planning, facility technical audits, technical policies and procedures, preventative and predictive maintenance, and service support. Responsibilities: Communicate operating philosophy, objectives and expectations to the service vendors. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities including all building systems. Solve building operational problems, including the supervision of outside contractors/vendors when used. Prepare and monitor the operational budgets under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Facility Manager. Assist in the development of variance report explanations. Oversee the accurate and timely completion of work order requests. Prepare and analyze monthly energy usage reports, and review proposed energy initiatives or procedures for feasibility at the site. Assist the Operations Manager in the implementation and administration of the FREC Preventative Maintenance Program. Review the status of preventative maintenance work with the Operations Manager and Assistant Chief on a monthly basis or as required. Implement emergency procedures and orientation of new vendors on the safety regulations at a Fidelity site. Responsible for government regulatory compliance, EPA/OSHA compliance, safety program, CFC handling, and other similar programs. Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and FREC minimum audit standards. Provide operational review and oversight of planned capital and expense projects. Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent with Operating Engineers License or equivalent A minimum of 5 years industry experience required Required to take and pass the both the JLL and FREC written competency entry tests Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and proficiency using windows based computers Display a high level of professionalism Effectively plan to avoid future problems Demonstrated proficiency with Fidelity standard software and work order systems Excellent attention to detailPosition requires pager to be worn 24/7.Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
