Human Resource Administrator
Clark Properties, a diverse property management and development company in Port Orange, is looking for an experienced Human Resource Administrator to provide administrative and strategic support to the Company through a variety of Human Resource functions.
Clark Properties has over 55 employees in a variety of positions, departments and locations.
Primary Duties for Human Resources Administrator include, but are not limited to: Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all Company personnel Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures Revise and maintain employee handbook Perform benefits administration, including enrollment, change reporting, termination, COBRA, approve invoices and manage annual open enrollment process (April) Perform recruitment activities, interviews and pre-evaluations for approved positions Facilitate exit interviews and manage employee issues Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, etc) Manage all Workers' Compensation claims and work with Maintenance Supervisor on monthly safety meeting topic and materials Maintain personnel files and manage necessary employee paperwork Conduct new hire orientations Author bi-weekly newsletter Other duties, as necessary or assigned
Essential Skills and Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in related field with three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resource experience or appropriate combination of experience and education Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration Effective oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong computer skill including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
