Financial Systems Analyst (JDE)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for providing end user support on existing and future financial applications and acts as the contact for addressing the IT needs of the business customers. This includes ensuring availability and performance of business applications, identifying and resolving issues, process and performance improvement opportunities, testing and test plan creation, and documenting and delivering training. Basic responsibilities include:• Deliver ongoing support, upgrades, enhancements and other applications management services to the end users.• Troubleshoot JDE system issues and provide direction for work-arounds, corrections and enhancements. Provide general end user support.• Responsible for SLAs to the users. Coordinate service delivery with the infrastructure and help desk teams.• Provide training, training material and support development of business user-based subject matter experts.• Work closely with Finance and Accounting to identify areas where financial systems technology can be leveraged to drive processing efficiencies and standardization and simplification of business processes. Identify and communicate issues and gathering comprehensive information to be used in problem identification and resolution. • Analyze and document business and technical requirements to solve problems in a cost-effective manner. • Support project initiatives in the business functional area throughout their lifecycle, including post-implementation support. • Develop relationships with key customers. • Keep current on issues affecting the business areas.QUALIFICATIONS:• BS/BA in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or other related area.• Must have extensive JDE systems knowledge (minimum 3-5 years experience with JD Edwards Xe and/or Enterprise One).• Must have excellent skills in oral and written communication and presentations, and thorough proficiency with English grammar.• Strong customer service and communication skills• Proven ability to troubleshoot/resolve user issues in a timely manner• General understanding of basic accounting rules and practices• Intermediate level JDE experience in at least 2 of the following areas (property management experience highly preferred): GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Property Management, Job Cost, Bank Reconciliation, Integrity Report Review and Cleanup (for modules listed above), Financial Reporting and Analysis• Experience in any of the following areas would also be a plus: writing SQL statements, sub-ledger reconciliations within JDE (Fixed assets, A/R, A/P), proven ability to organize and lead process improvement projects, Crystal and/or Business Objects, Hyperion (HFM and/or FPM), previous project management experience, previous JDE consulting experience, Hyperion (HFM and/or FPM), JDE ERW Report Writing, JDE FDA Development, CNC, JDE Security Setup/Maintenance, Data Conversion, ERP Implementations, documentation and training• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. MS Project skills a plus.• Must have excellent organizational skills.
