We have an immediate opportunity for a Facilities Superintendent at our Fair Oaks Center.  The primary mission of this position is to provide supervision of the facilities staff at the center in implementing, coordinating and supporting the facilities program at the center.

 

Under the direction of the Facilities Director, some but not all responsibilities include:

 

Coordinate orientation, training and employee development programs for new and established personnel.

 

Development of facilities department employee work schedules.

 

Maintenance of the center's mechanical and electrical systems, custodial and horticultural operations and review of all tenant construction.

 

Coordinate and/or assist with the work of contracted outside vendors including contract preparation as they relate to areas of responsibility.

 

Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of CAM and Owners budgets as they relate to facilities, to ensure budgets are in line with approved baselines.

 

Work with the Facilities Director to develop long range budget plans for maintenance and replacement of major cost items (parking lots, HVAC systems, roof, etc).

 

Qualifications:

 

Five (5) of more years experience in facilities maintenance and supervision. 

 

General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and building automation systems.

 

Ability to work on computer programs such as preventive maintenance programs, building automation systems, work processing systems, etc.

 

Must be able to communicate effectively both vertically and horizontally within the organization through written or verbal communication.

 

Must have the ability to innovatively address problem solving and managerial issues within a team environment.

 

High School Diploma or equivalent.
