Compensation Supervisor
Description:JOB SUMMARY Manages organization rewards strategy through designing compensation policies / processes, managing the compensation needs of the business, conducting analysis, interpreting data, and administering programs. Provides Compensation consultation and guidance to assigned business unit.Duties and Responsibilities- Serves as a partner and advisor to Human Resource team and Line Managers and provides analyses and recommendations on compensation issues, policies and procedures. - Manages the CBRE compensation programs for their particular business group.- Perform compensation and financial analysis, as well as additional ad hoc projects. - Drive complex analysis of salary, bonus and other total compensation elements.- Conducts job analysis and creates job descriptions ensuring compliance with legal and organizational guidelines. Evaluates jobs using market pricing methodology and reviews/analyzes positions for internal/external equity and compliance. - Participates in the completion of salary surveys and evaluates results for impact upon market competitiveness of base/variable compensation programs.- Reviews and approves proposed salary adjustments and reclassifications for consistency with business objectives, ensuring proper approvals are received and transactions are processed on a timely basis.- Makes recommendations for comp plan changes, areas for further investigation, and identifies risk exposure. May compose or revise plan documents.- Researches and prepares reports to be used for compensation decision-making.- Supports other compensation initiatives and annual processes.Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS - Experienced Compensation professional with line of business experience.- Experience in working with Senior Business and HR Leaders.- Understanding of FLSA rules as they pertain to Compensation.- Knowledge of generalist HR principles and processes. - Understanding of HR legal environment. - Advanced Excel skills.- Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE - 7 - 10 years of compensation experience, preferably in a multinational company.- Commercial real estate compensation experience a plus.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES CCP or completion of some WorldatWork course work is desirableSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Dallas, TXJob Number: 3937Company Profile:CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc.
