The NRT Eastern Seaboard Support Center, located in Parsippany, NJ,  provides regionalized finance, marketing, relocation, human resources, and field support servicing to the seven NRT-owned real estate companies and their 180 office locations operating under the Coldwell Banker and ERA brand names  located in Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.

NRT's Eastern Seaboard Support Center seeks Communications Specialists to join their talented public relations team. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to grow their communications career.  You will enjoy a multi-faceted role that includes internal and external communications, media relations and special projects. The Communications Specialist is an integral part of the Corporate Communications Department and should have strong writing skills and experience writing creative copy including press releases, media alerts, executive biographies, company backgrounders, internal messages, advertorials, newsletter and website content, and E-bulletins.  The Communications Specialist will serve as a resource for company and industry information; work with local and national media; monitor media, resource and communications archives; facilitate the company’s internal surveys; and be responsible for editing and proofreading copy while assuring editorial standards.  This position reports to the PR/Communications Director and is an entry level position.

 

 

Qualifications include:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and/or English

 At least 2 years Communications experience

 Proven superb verbal and written communication skills

 Extremely organized and detail oriented in a deadline driven, multi-priority team  environment 

 Drive and manage approval process throughout projects, including cross-functional approvals when required

 Superior knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

 Strong knowledge of AP writing style.
