A global real estate services firm is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:  Commission Analyst – New York, NYJob Summary To ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Financial Data in the Commission Acctg. System.  Also, to ensure compliance by all branch offices with all contractual and commission related policies and procedures. Principal Responsibilities Review for income booking purposes those brokerage transactions entered by the branch offices.  Ensure that all branch offices are complying with all commission accounting policies and procedures.   Assist and/or coordinate the application of cash for all “approved” transactions prior to the next upcoming cash broker payroll cut-off date.   Compile a monthly listing from each branch office which list all major pending transactions.   Obtain monthly revenue estimates from each branch on or about the 10th and 23rd of each month.  Such estimates should include a listing of the major transactions included for the current month.   Perform various month-end reconciliations (i.e.: revenue, cash etc.) between the commission system and the general ledger.   Perform various analyses at the discretion of the manager on items such as commission expense, cost recovery accounts, 5-10-15 bonus as well as an assortment of marketing (statistical) data.   Review and monitor of certain Balance Sheet Accounts to ensure recovery, charge back or write-offs occur on a timely basis.   Qualifications  BA in accounting, finance or related field required. Knowledge of Microsoft software required; PeopleSoft and AS400 helpful. 1-3 years working experience in the accounting or finance field helpful.   Required SkillsAbility to efficiently perform tasks and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in all related software. Strong communication, written, computer and analytical skills a must. Knowledge of the Real Estate Industry including a familiarity with lease documents, commission agreements and broker contracts a plus.   If you have the skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced environment, we offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package and a genuine career opportunity.  Please click on this link to apply:   http://careers.vurvexpress.com/jobprofile.cfm?szWID=14033&szCID=63150&szOrderID=523085&szSiteID=451 No Phone Calls/Agencies PleaseEqual Opportunity Employer
