Commercial R.E. Asset Manager

Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager is a key position responsible for the management and disposition of a portfolio of foreclosed real estate under a multi-year government contract. 

 

The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the property operations and the sale of commercial real estate in their portfolio located nationwide.  S/he will hire, train, lead and manage individual property managers, leasing agents and brokers.  The Asset Manager will be responsible for capital and operating budgets and will have P&L responsibility. 

 

The successful candidate must be very familiar with commercial real estate including appraisal, environmental, insurance, title, budgeting, leasing, property management, sales and disposition, financing and closing functions.  The ability to work with a variety of information systems is required.

 

Qualification / Skills Needed: 

 8-10 years of commercial real estate asset management experience strongly preferred.  Alternatively, 10+ years of property management, commercial real estate finance and/or commercial sales and leasing experience would be considered.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field is required.  MBA/Advanced degree a strong plus.A willingness and ability to travel to client and asset locations.Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.Strong computer and analytical skills.Ability to think strategically.Demonstrated ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer/PC proficiency.
