Bookkeeping A/P-A/R Manager

Employee Transfer Corporation and ETCREO are looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to work as the Bookkeeping A/P-A/R Manager in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.

 

The REO Bookkeeping A/P-A/R Manager ensures that all accounting procedures are completed in an accurate, timely manner to support the REO Departments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include some or all of the following; at the manager’s discretion. Other duties may be assigned.

 

· Initiates monthly billing for each inventory/REO property and audit billing files monthly to ensure that each property has appropriate bills.

· Prepares final bills on all closed properties and completes audits on each closed file to ensure that final bills have been received

· Prepares and forward letters on properties with outstanding balances due, and collects and applies monies to outstanding invoices.

· Creates new billing files and enters checks on DPN system

· Manages vendor financial details including completing W-9’s and verifying insurance certificates.

· Processes all checks and prepares bank deposits for the accounting department.

· Understands office goals as set by management and assists in meeting and achieving those goals.

· Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

· Accepts and performs assignments varying in size and scope as well as other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); More than 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with accrual based accounting; Experience with A/R and A/P journal entries; Experience with Bank reconciliation.  Experience with electronic billing.

All candidates will be required to pass any and all pre-employment examinations required by the Company, including drug/alcohol screening and background/credit checks.
