Assistant Property Mgr

Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER Assists the Property Manager by directing the operations of communities or single family units. Acts on behalf of Property Manager in their absence and as a liaison between residents and CMHA. Employee will supervise on-site administrative and maintenance staff and be on call 24 hours a day. Employee functions as a rental agent, monitors acco unts receivable and monthly delinquencies, inspects buildings, accepts requests for repairs and completes move-in and moveout inspections. Employee works with discretion in the performance of duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Minimum requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and property management experience. Two years of experience may be substituted for up to 1 year of college. Must be certified housing, apartment or accredited residential manager or be able to obtain certification within one (1) year of employment. Three years of experience in property management and/or housing operations of which two years are in tax credit administration and compliance is preferred. Must have excellent supervisory, verbal and written skills. Must have a valid Ohio Drivers license. Full-time position in a smoke free environment. Salary $34,214 with excellent company benefits.
